My Theoretical Model
Babylonian Map of the World

**

In the first chapter, I have collected 50 cases of practices that surpass previous human experience, ranging from whimsical ideas that have shocked the world to contemporary works that inspire critical thinking. What makes these my archive is that they are invariably beyond the imagination of the people of the time. And as I try to understand how the visionaries and discoverers observed and practiced, it is as if I too became a tiny mediator connecting me to the universe in which I live. Perhaps there are cases here that have never been successfully implemented, perhaps now overturned by more advanced science, but this is what gives us the imagination to understand the whole world with the smallest of natural laws, to look into distant places never envisioned before. The logic presented in the Babylonian map became the theoretical support for my entire work, and I divided the 50 cases into four levels according to the known to the unknown, and the exploration of the known to the unknown thus opened and made the second chapter of my work.

In the second chapter, I conducted a series of experiments by using 10 stones I had collected as mediators. They can be the most prized collectors' items in the auction house, or they may be one of the thousands of stones that are least noticeable. Further, a few of them can become building materials, turned into weapons by polishing, and become necklaces on people' necks. So where will they go in the unknown? In my behaviors and imagination, they may have turned into something else. When you give a stone as a gift to a distant relative, you may be able to get the most valuable gift in return. Besides, it is also a map left behind by a town before the volcanic eruption, a meteorite that will return to Mars in 2026, or it can turn into dust and everything in the world on a windy night. 10 stones become 10 unknown stories, and this experiment aims to use the means of graphic design to enable us to complete the redefinition of stone, the discovery and exploration of mediators.

Amber is always inseparable from memory, and a memory from 10 million years ago might be a cicada resting on a tree, or a fossilized animal that is now extinct. And whose memories are hidden in the amber of 10 million years later?

Stone No.2, images

Stone No.2 has been examined by later generations and can be identified as a map - it belongs to a town that turned into ashes by a volcanic eruption in early 87 BC. By comparing the excavated remains with the map, we were surprised to find that this was an ancient city with an advanced civilization. It had a large open-air theater and gladiatorial arena, baths for more than a thousand people at the same time, and a well-developed defense system. But one day in the sleep of the people, an apocalypse destroyed the centuries of history.

No.7 is the smallest dragon egg ever found that can hatch a dragon. Technically speaking, it is actually a stone, but what makes this stone different from other kinds is that it can absorb the belief of the holder, and when the holder firmly believes that it is a dragon, then he/she can get a real dragon.
